Effective immediately, all suppliers must use the ResponsiBLUE COVID-19 Screening Check before entering University of Michigan buildings and property. The requirement includes direct employees of suppliers as well as any other individuals—such as subcontractors or delivery people—that suppliers use when doing business with U-M.
The ResponsiBLUE Screening Check is an integral component of U-M’s ongoing effort to create a safe environment. Students, employees, and visitors are also required to use the tool before entering U-M buildings and property.
“It only takes a few minutes to complete the ResponsiBLUE Screening Check,” said Tony Burger, director of procurement services. “And by supporting this important measure, along with U-M’s other public health steps such as wearing face coverings, maintaining social distancing, practicing frequent handwashing, avoiding large gatherings, and staying home when sick, our suppliers can help us make U-M’s campus safe for everyone.”
