Website and graphic design services now available in Quote to Order

Procurement Services launched a new and more versatile ordering system for website and graphic design projects on Monday, October 16, 2017. The new system—known as Quote to Order (QTO)—was designed to allow customers to obtain quotes from strategic suppliers for their commodity-based projects. The customer will be able to select what type of service they are looking for, from hosting to developing a brand new website, and specify their requirements within the system.

PCard program - new chip cards are coming

We are pleased to announce that J.P. Morgan Chase will be issuing chip cards to replace current PCards. During the month of August, J.P. Morgan Chase will take steps to convert all cardholders to chip cards with the estimated mailing date of August 17, 2017.  Once mailed, cardholders should receive their new card within two weeks.

New federal regulations for procurement coming in FY 2019

The University of Michigan will be implementing new federal regulations for procurement on July 1, 2017, the start of fiscal year 2018. The regulations—known as Uniform Guidance—are issued by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

Updates to the PCard program

In March, JPMorgan Chase, the bank which issues U-M’s PCards, is making a processing change. There will be minimal impact to PCard holders as a result of this change, but we do want to provide the following updates:

Issuance of replacement PCards in August

  • As a result of the JP Morgan Chase change, you’ll be receiving a new PCard. JPMorgan Chase will begin issuing new PCards in August 2017. We’ll send you an email several days before your PCard is mailed so you’ll know when it’s going to arrive. Replacement PCards will be issued as chip cards with an additional year added to the existing expiration date.
