eShipGlobal, a comprehensive shipping platform, is now available to the U-M community. This new service has a variety of benefits for users, including:
- The ability to compare shipping costs between carriers with UM-contracted pricing.
- Built-in compliance review for international shipments in partnership with Export Controls
- Easy payment with a U-M shortcode. Charges will appear on your unit’s statement of activity as a non-PO voucher.
U-M users can access eShipGlobal through Marketsite+ or in the Buying Blue collection on Wolverine Access. Instructions for using eShipGlobal are available in the Procurement Services Knowledge Base. While training isn’t required, employees are welcome to register for any upcoming training opportunities listed below. Each session will include an overview of the platform, instructions for key features, and a Q&A period with an eShipGlobal representative. If you’re shipping hazardous materials, please ensure that you’ve completed the appropriate Environmental Health and Safety training.
