Each year during February, March, and April, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions welcomes hundreds of admitted students and their families to U-M’s Ann Arbor campus as part of their Campus Days program.
CTP played an important role in supporting this year’s program by coordinating travel for attendees.
“CTP’s efforts and coordination were instrumental in bringing more than 300 admitted students and their families to campus. Their team partnered closely with us over several months to develop the process flow that made this initiative possible.”—Rachel Taylor, Assistant Director for On-Campus and Virtual Programs
Rachel Taylor and her team worked with CTP to establish a process for the admitted students and their guests to select flights and hotel rooms using CTP’s Travel Quote tool. CTP then booked the flights, made hotel reservations, and emailed confirmations directly to the travelers.
Coordinating travel for an initiative of this size requires ongoing communication and flexibility, especially when traveler plans change or weather affects itineraries. Thanks to close collaboration between Admissions and CTP, the process ran smoothly and helped support a positive campus visit experience for admitted students and their families.
