Effective July 1, 2026, the minimum monthly credit limit and single transaction limit for the PCard and Travel & Hosting Card increased to $10,000.
This change better aligns card limits with other university thresholds, including the buying threshold and the updated capital asset threshold, which also increased from $5,000 to $10,000.
What this means:
- Existing cards with a permanent limit below $10,000 were automatically increased to $10,000.
- Existing cards with a permanent limit above $10,000 will keep their current limit.
- Existing temporary limit increases will not be reduced as part of this change.
- New PCards and Travel & Hosting Cards will be issued with a $10,000 monthly credit limit and $10,000 single transaction limit.
- Cardholders may continue to request a higher limit, if needed, through the Request a Change to My Card form.
The required card training is also transitioning to a video-based Knowledge Base Article format, with only the assessment completed in MyLinc. This approach is similar to the Emburse Approver training model.
Current cardholders do not need to complete the new training until their existing training expires.
