Three new University-Wide branded promotional product suppliers will be available in Marketsite+ beginning July 20, following a recent competitive sourcing event.
The supplier catalogs will be enabled with single sign-on (SSO) and available through Marketsite+:
The evaluation process considered pricing structure, product quality, supplier diversity, service capabilities, and sustainability initiatives. Sustainability was a significant factor in the sourcing event and accounted for a meaningful portion of the overall evaluation score.
Procurement Services partnered with the Office of Campus Sustainability to review supplier responses related to sustainability leadership, policies and goals, certified environmentally friendly products, reporting capabilities, packaging and waste-reduction practices, and alignment with U-M’s Look to Michigan energy, climate action, sustainability, and environmental equity goals.
The awarded suppliers demonstrated strong capabilities in these areas, giving U-M partners that can support both university branding needs and long-term sustainability commitments.
The legacy supplier catalogs for Staples Promotional Products and Mercury will be removed from Marketsite+ when the new catalogs go live.
