Following a recent competitive sourcing event, Procurement Services has selected 10 university-wide Commercial and Digital Print Services suppliers that will be available for ordering through Quote to Order (QTO) beginning September 1, 2026.
The competitive evaluation considered a range of factors, including pricing, product offerings, product quality, supplier diversity, customer service capabilities, and sustainability initiatives.
Procurement Services partnered with a University of Michigan Evaluation Committee to evaluate proposals and select multiple suppliers that demonstrated the ability to provide high-quality, competitively priced printing services with excellent, on-time customer service and delivery. The awarded suppliers also demonstrated capabilities that support U-M’s printing needs and sustainability commitments.
New Commercial and Digital Print Services Suppliers
The following suppliers will be available for ordering through QTO beginning September 1:
- Allegra Print and Imaging (Acadia Group)
- Allied Re-Think
- Dollar Bill Printing (Copy Two)
- EPI Printers Incorporated
- Foresight Group/ULitho
- Genesis
- Hatteras/Focus 1
- Kimprint Inc.
- PrintComm/Marketing Impact
- TGI Direct
UM Print/Copy/Mail
Before selecting an external supplier, departments should consider using the University’s internal service provider, UM Print/Copy/Mail, for common printing needs such as letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and other printed materials.
Changes to Current QTO Suppliers
Effective September 1, 2026, the following suppliers will no longer be available through QTO:
- Advance Print and Graphics
- Arbor Oakland Group (Arbor Press)
- Tepel Brothers Printing Company (C2 Imaging)
- The Image Group
Departments may continue to work with these suppliers for future printing needs using a PCard or Purchase Order (PO), as appropriate.
FedEx and PrintTech will remain contracted U-M suppliers but will no longer participate in the QTO program. Departments can continue to place orders with these suppliers using a shortcode, PCard, or PO.
