Registration is now open for the 2025 Conference on Sustainable Food Procurement by Institutions. The event, which is presented by MDining, is taking place April 21 to 23 on the U-M Ann Arbor campus and brings together dining directors, foodservice suppliers, procurement specialists, academics, and students from across the higher education foodservice community. Whether you’re new to sustainable procurement or a seasoned expert, the conference will provide valuable education, hands-on engagement, and networking opportunities for attendees at all levels.
It kicks off with a special student-focused day that features a sponsored case competition, a career fair, and a networking reception. This unique opportunity will help students explore careers in procurement and sustainability while connecting with industry professionals.
The conference also includes interactive workshops, an academic poster fair, and a supplier showcase that highlights innovative research and sustainability initiatives in food procurement. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour local sustainable food operations around Ann Arbor.
