This internal service provider is a U-M Facilities & Operations unit that provides moving and trucking services to the university communities in Ann Arbor, Flint, and Dearborn. U-M Moving & Trucking and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) (and their approved contracted suppliers) are the only methods acceptable for moving laboratories across campus properties.

• Furniture assembly and disassembly
• Trailer storage
• Rental and set up of scaffolding
• Moves to/from Property Disposition
• Coordination of office and lab moves of any size across the UM campuses
• Off-hour scheduling
• Receiving Dock Benefits:
  • Receive and arrange delivery of items that are too large to receive at U-M Ann Arbor campus facilities
  • Coordinate moving items that come in at the 1201 Kipke receiving dock to various locations on campus
