Contract Type: University Contract
The university has a contract with Delta Airlines for business travel. Negotiated discounts are available when booking airfare reservations through the university’s designated travel agency, CTP, using the online U-M Travel Booking Tool or via agent assistance.

Ordering
Airfare reservations can be made through the U-M online Travel Booking Tool, Lightning, or via agent assistance.
The U-M Travel Portal and Lightning can also be reached through Wolverine Access from the “Travel Booking” tile.

Additional Information
In addition to negotiated discounts on applicable fare classes, Delta offers the university the following perks. Travelers should ensure that their SkyMiles number is located in their CTP Travel Profile in the U-M Travel Portal to make certain they receive these benefit.
Priority Boarding
U-M business travelers can board as Zone 1 Priority Boarding travelers (even for travelers without SkyMiles status).

Preferred Seating
Corporate travelers now also have the ability to self-select the complimentary Preferred Seating option. In order to take advantage of this new benefit, travelers should visit delta.com/mytrips, access the ticketed reservation, and select from the available Preferred Seating options in the seat map.
Corporate Name Change Program
Delta’s Corporate Name Change Program provides units with more flexibility in applying the value of unused tickets towards a new booking allowing better utilization of the travel budget. Under the Corporate Name Change Program, U-M receives a reduced Name Change fee of $100.00 (from $150.00). Name Changes are available through CTP when the original ticket was booked in U-M’s Travel Booking Tool or directly with a CTP agent.

CLEAR Discounts
As an extension of their longtime Delta Air Lines partnership, CLEAR offers Delta SkyMiles members a discount on memberships. You must have a Delta SkyMiles account to obtain the discount. Visit the CLEAR website to learn more and enroll.
CLEAR is also available to students at a discounted price. Students must enroll here on the student tab to take advantage of this discounted rate.
