Procurement Services held its second Buying Blue Community of Practice webinar on July 27, 2023. Nearly 200 attendees heard presentations on:
- U-M’s strategic sourcing program and its many benefits to the university.
- A new process in Procurement Services for reporting major system-related incidents and supply chain disruptions.
- The university’s new travel booking and reimbursement processes and the resources available to help support the transition.
The topics were based on the suggestions provided during the inaugural Buying Blue event in April. Additionally, attendees were encouraged to submit questions in advance regarding these topics.
